Course Overview
This course will provide students with the skills and knowledge to undertake working safely from heights and the ability to identify the hazards associated with falls, risks and implement effective control measures. The course content includes:
Introduction to Working at Heights
Hazard Identification
Risk Management
Fall Protection Systems and Equipment
Emergency Planning
Person Work Safely at Heights
Finalising Operations.
Licensing, legislative and certification requirements that apply to this unit can vary between states, territories and industry sectors. Users must check requirements with relevant body before applying the unit.
On successful completion of this course, students will be issued with
a Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment for RIIWHS204E – Work Safely At Heights.

The Unique Student Identifier (USI) must be supplied and verified prior to issuance (www.usi.gov.au).
Entry Requirements
Be at least 16 years of age.
Students must be able to read, write, speak and understand basic English.
Enrolment form & payment is required prior to training commencing.
Other Requirements
Students will be required to:
present photo ID.
declare any medical issue that may exclude them from full participation.
wear long sleeves, long pants, and enclosed footwear.
be comfortable working at heights.
