Career Employment Group Inc is seeking applications for a Hospitality Trainee to work with our valued Host Employer in Port Lincoln. This is a full time position.
As part of this opportunity, you will undertake a Certificate III in Hospitality, where you will learn to work effectively in establishments including restaurants, hotels, motels, clubs, pubs, cafes, and coffee shops.
What does a Hospitality Trainee do?
As a Hospitality Trainee, you will learn a range of hospitality services, sales, and operational skills, and obtain a sound knowledge of industry operations. You may also undertake the following:
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide positive dining and service experiences.
- Serving food and drinks, setting tables, and ensuring cleanliness.
- Make and serve expresso coffee, prepare non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages.
- Follow food safety procedures, maintain clean work areas, and adhere to health and safety regulations.
- Use point of sale systems, process payments, and manage cash or electronic transactions.
- Collaborate and work effectively in a busy hospitality environment.

- Be able to use initiative and work well in a team.
- Have the ability to handle fast-paced services.
