Description

Adelaide Institute of Hospitality is seeking a motivated and experienced Casual Trainer and Assessor to deliver the SIT30622 Certificate III in Hospitality to students undertaking traineeships within the hospitality industry.

In this role, you will deliver high-quality, compliant training and assessment services to students and clients across metropolitan and regional South Australia. This includes conducting face-to-face, on-site training and assessments at various locations, as well as providing ongoing mentoring and support via email, phone, and Microsoft Teams.

This is a flexible position, with work availability dependent on the successful candidate’s schedule. On average, the role will require approximately 10 hours per week.

This position requires you to:

  • Have a passion for the Hospitality Industry and a desire to train South Australia’s future Hospitality employees.
  • Deliver SIT30622 Certificate III in Hospitality to students in accordance with training legislation.
  • Establish and maintain industry relationships to ensure that the training and assessment services are aligned with industry expectations.
  • Be flexible with working hours to meet the needs of our valued clients.
  • This role may require intrastate travel.

To be successful in this role:

  • You will have minimum 2 years’ current experience in the Hospitality industry; and
  • You will hold a Certificate III in Hospitality or higher; and
  • You will hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110, TAE40116, TAE40112 or its successor); and
  • Full driver’s licence and reliable transport.

The successful applicant will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical.
