Career Employment Group Inc is seeking applications for multiple Carpentry Apprentices to work with our skilled and valued Host Employers. We have ongoing vacancies located across Adelaide and all surrounding areas.
Whether you’re just getting started or looking to finish an existing apprenticeship, this is your chance to become a qualified carpenter while earning on the job and gaining a nationally recognised Certificate III in Carpentry.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Carpentry Apprentice, you’ll learn to:
- Construct, install, finish, and repair wooden structures and fixtures on residential and commercial sites.
- Read and interpret building plans and specifications.
- Use a range of tools and materials in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.
- Carry out tasks such as:
- General demolition of minor structures
- Building wall and ceiling frames
- Accurate measuring and cutting
- Working effectively and sustainably in the construction industry
What We’re Looking For
To be considered for a carpentry apprenticeship the following is required:
- Pass a pre-employment medical
- Hold a current provisional or full driver’s licence
- Be eager to learn, reliable, and take pride in your work
- Be a team player who can also work independently and use initiative
