Career Employment Group Inc is seeking applications for a Cabinet Maker Apprentice to work with our valued Host Employer in Port Lincoln. This is a full time position.
As a Cabinet Maker Apprentice, you will undertake a Certificate III in Cabinet Making and Timber Technology, where you will learn on-the-job to become a qualified tradesperson.
In this role, you will learn a wide range of skills associated with the manufacture and installation of kitchen and bathroom cabinetry, including work on new builds and renovation projects. Duties may include:
- Use furniture making hand and power tools
- Read and interpret work documents
- Prepare for cabinet installation
- Check and measure fit of cabinets
- Make measurements and calculations
Position Requirements
- Satisfactorily pass a pre-employment medical
- Hold a current driver’s licence
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Be punctual and have a good work ethic
- Be able to use initiative and work well in a team
