Career Employment Group Inc is seeking applications for Aluminium Carpentry Apprentices to work with our skilled and valued Host Employers in multiple Adelaide areas, with positions available in both on-site and factory-based roles.
These are full time positions, with an immediate start for the right candidate. As part of your apprenticeship, you will complete a Certificate III in Carpentry over four years, gaining hands-on experience while working towards becoming a skilled and qualified carpenter.
What does an Aluminium Carpentry Apprentice do?
As an Aluminium Carpentry Apprentice, you will learn to undertake tasks specialising in installing or fabricating aluminium window frames and general building. You may also undertake the following:
- Specialising in aluminium window frames and general building.
- 1st and 2nd fix carpentry tasks.
- Fixing architraves, skirtings, and door jambs to steel frames.
- Installing window frames and undertaking glazing work.
- Working safely and effectively in the construction industry.
Position Requirements
- Satisfactorily pass a pre-employment medical.
- Hold a current Driver's Licence, and be willing to travel due to changing work sites.
- Have a willingness to learn and develop new skills in this trade.
- Be physically fit and have the ability to undertake manual labour.
- Be able to use initiative and communicate well to work in a team.
- Hold a current White Card (or be willing to obtain prior to starting).
