Course Overview

This broad qualification will give you practical foundation skills needed to carry out a range of basic tasks in the mining, civil and construction industries. As part of this qualification, you may also undertake a traineeship.

Other Requirements

You will need to attend training in Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including:

  • safety boots
  • safety glasses
  • workwear

Course Content

Packaging Rules

Total number of units = 9

  • All Core Units must be selected.
  • A total of three Group A elective units must be selected.
  • A minimum of one, maximum two Group B elective units must be selected.
  • If only one Group B elective unit is completed, then one unit may be selected from the list of additional electives.
