Course Overview
This broad qualification will give you practical foundation skills needed to carry out a range of basic tasks in the mining, civil and construction industries. As part of this qualification, you may also undertake a traineeship.

- There are no formal academic entry requirements for this qualification.
Other Requirements
You will need to attend training in Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including:
- safety boots
- safety glasses
- workwear

Packaging Rules
Total number of units = 9
- All Core Units must be selected.
- A total of three Group A elective units must be selected.
- A minimum of one, maximum two Group B elective units must be selected.
- If only one Group B elective unit is completed, then one unit may be selected from the list of additional electives.
